Privacy

What we know about you. (Almost nothing.)

BizCoacher.net is a static site with no backend, no database, and no analytics turned on today. Most of what a privacy policy normally describes does not happen here. This page is the short, honest version of the rest.

If you’re after the cookie-specific picture, that’s on the cookies page.

What we don’t collect.

  • No Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, or any other analytics — nothing is counting your visit today.
  • No Facebook or Meta pixel, no LinkedIn Insight tag, no TikTok pixel, no ad-tech of any kind.
  • No retargeting, no conversion tracking, no UTM stitching to a CRM.
  • No chat widgets (Intercom, Drift, Crisp). No session replay (Hotjar, FullStory).
  • No A/B testing tools. No heatmaps.
  • No embedded YouTube, Vimeo, Spotify, or social embeds — those would set third-party cookies; we don’t use them.
  • No newsletter signup, no marketing automation, no email list — there’s nothing to subscribe to right now.
  • No accounts, no logins, no comments — nothing to authenticate.

What we do have.

One piece of browser storage: a localStorage entry called bizcoacher-cookie-notice-dismissed that remembers whether you clicked “Got it” on the cookie notice. That’s it on the browser side. Full details are on the cookies page.

Our web server (Caddy) keeps access logs: IP address, timestamp, path, user agent. Those logs roll weekly. We don’t export them, don’t tie them to anything else, and don’t read them unless we’re debugging a specific outage. If the site is behind Cloudflare, Cloudflare keeps its own edge logs to the same effect.

How email contact works.

The contact form on the contact page is a client-side mailto: draft — your browser opens a new email addressed to us with the fields you filled in. Nothing is submitted to a server on our end. The form itself doesn’t store anything.

Once you send the email, it lives in the [email protected] inbox the same way any other email does. We keep correspondence while the conversation is alive, archive it when it’s done, and delete it on request. We don’t forward it, don’t share it, and don’t add you to a marketing list because we don’t have one.

Third-party fonts are the one asterisk.

The site loads two typefaces — Merriweather and Open Sans — from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Google may log that request and set cookies on its own domains. We don’t see those, can’t read them, and don’t get any data back from them. If you’d rather skip the request entirely, a font-blocking extension or a privacy-strict browser will stop it; the page still reads fine in system fonts.

There is no analytics on this site today.

Our Google Analytics integration is wired up in the code but sits dormant unless we set a measurement ID in the site config, which we have not done. If we ever turn analytics on, this page will say so before the script ships.

Your rights, in plain English.

If you’re in the EU, the UK, or anywhere with a “right to be forgotten” law: email us. There’s almost nothing to forget — but if your name is in our inbox from a previous email, we’ll delete that thread.

If you’re in California and the CCPA applies: we don’t sell or share personal information. There’s nothing to opt out of, but if you’d like written confirmation, email and we’ll send it.

We honor Do Not Track headers by default — but since we don’t run analytics or trackers, there’s nothing for the signal to switch off.

How to ask us anything.

Email [email protected]. There’s no special privacy alias — it’s the same address as everything else. We usually reply in a day or two.
